WHAT DESTINY HAS IN STORE FOR YOU
Is your destiny already traced, or can your choices still change you?
When it comes to destiny, the world is divided into two groups.
Those who believe that their destiny is already predetermined, and those who believe that they make their own destiny, choose what their future will be.
What the Word says about the destiny of each one
God gives the person the opportunity to make a choice and change their situation. He warns of the two possible destinies for our life: of peace, salvation and joy, or of destruction even worse than we had already suffered.
Letâs see here the turning point, when Joelâs book talks about the present and reveals a powerful truth: the past brings consequences, but it doesnât need to define the future.
God shows what has happened, warns about what may come and, in the present, makes an invitation:
âNow, therefore,â says the LORD, âTurn to Me with all your heart, With fasting, with weeping, and with mourning. So rend your heart, and not your garments; Return to the LORD your God, For He is gracious and merciful, Slow to anger, and of great kindness; And He relents from doing harm.â Joel 2:12-13
Thereâs still time to regret, change direction and start over.
The power of choice
