Students kick off the new school year with skits, dance, and a message of hope
The Youth Power Group (YPG) visited Clendon Mason Memorial Secondary School in Dennery to help welcome the new academic year with energy and encouragement.
YPG members put on a lively program for the students, including an educational skit and a dance performance built to motivate the student body. The message centered on facing fears head on. Students were encouraged to “pop the balloon” of discouragement and low self-esteem as they take on a new year of academic challenges.
The visit closed with a word of encouragement and a prayer for students, teachers, principals, and staff, asking for blessing and guidance through the school year ahead.
School counselor Ms. Williams thanked YPG for the visit and pointed to the positive impact and uplifting energy the group brought to the school community as students began their educational journey for the year.
