Members of the Universal Church recently spent a day in Dennery, Saint Lucia, sharing the Word of God, praying with residents and offering a message of hope to the community. The visit was a chance to take faith beyond the church walls and meet people where they live.
Taking Faith Into the Community
The group walked through the streets of Dennery with a simple purpose: to meet residents, listen to them and remind them of God’s love. Faith is not meant to stay inside a building. It is meant to be lived out among the people around us, and this visit put that into practice.
Sharing the Word of God
Throughout the visit, members stopped to talk with residents on their doorsteps, on their verandas and along the road. These conversations were an opportunity to share the Gospel, to encourage those going through difficult times and to let each person know that they are not forgotten.
This kind of evangelism reflects the church’s commitment to reaching people where they are, with a message that can bring real change to their lives.
United in Prayer and Faith
The day also brought people together in prayer. With hearts focused on God, the group prayed for the people of Dennery, for their families and for the wider community, and the water was blessed during the time of prayer.
It was a powerful reminder of the importance of prayer and of seeking God’s guidance, strength and direction in every area of life.
