The date and time for the 2026 Marriage Celebration have already been set: 30th April at 5:30 pm. With that in mind, couples who wish to receive the blessing from the Author of Love at the Altar of the Cathedral of Miracles can begin their preparations now.
The process is straightforward, free from unnecessary bureaucracy, and does not involve the high costs often associated with traditional weddings. But before explaining how to take part, it’s worth understanding why presenting your marriage at the Altar is important.
More than a religious tradition, presenting your marriage at the Altar is an act of faith. It is the moment when a couple consecrates their union before the Lord Jesus Himself. Those who take this step separate their relationship from the destruction that affects so many families today and receive God’s wisdom and guidance to build a happy, stable, and lasting future together.
In 2025, the Wedding Celebration brought together approximately 15,734 couples worldwide. Each one recognised the value of marriage and chose to place their union in God’s hands. Now, this same opportunity is open once again to all who want to establish their relationship with God as its foundation.
If you are engaged, married civilly, or in a stable relationship, you are welcome to participate in the Wedding Celebration. You do not need to be a member of the Universal Church to take part. All interested couples must register by 16 March 2026.

If you are not yet married, please note that your civil marriage must take place by 23rd April 2026.
Once all steps are complete and all required information has been provided, you will be ready to take part in the Wedding Celebration and present your marriage at the Altar.
FAQs
Is formal attire required?
Formal wear is optional. Brides do not have to wear wedding dresses, and grooms are not required to wear suits. Just wear what you feel comfortable in and what suits your circumstances.
Is there a fee to get married at the Wedding Celebration?
Registration for the Wedding Celebration is completely free. There are no additional charges for the ceremony, decoration, music, or photographs.
